Part one of this lesson theme had everyone sawing, wring etc and not enough time to complete the work so we were set ‘homework’ – finish the bamboo section ready to include into an arrangement.

Working with a group of ikebana artists keeps the imagination and creativity alive. Viewing everyone’s bamboo forms it never ceases to amaze me that as they say ‘there are different ways to brew your coffee’ (didn’t want to write the usual saying).
This has been in a great exercise in refreshing skills working with bamboo especially wiring skills
