Are you interested in Learning Ikebana?
Have you had this idea that you would like to know more about how to create an ikebana arrangement? – Well now is the time to pursue that dream. Find a moment in this hectic life we all lead and be guided on a journey to discover the beautiful calming qualities of this age-old art form in a modern world.
Sogetsu ikebana starts with introductory lessons and it follows a Japanese curriculum but there is also scope to develop your own freestyle expression. Many of us find that we soon become captivated wanting to learn and share more. As a student you can choose to enjoy the pleasures of learning the basics of Ikebana or strive to become a qualified teacher, the choice is yours. Sogetsu School emphasises using our beautiful Australian seasonal materials available in our own gardens, our friend’s gardens and our local florists and flower markets. Before too long it becomes a life-long passion of enjoyment.
