Our 1st Ikebana workshop in February 2024 was conducted by Junko Daniels who did a few demonstrations on how to hero “Water” in our Ikebana.

In this workshop water is considered precisely as an element to be included as a material in the arrangement. There are various ways of using water, such as emphasizing the water surface, showing the water through glass or transparent containers or a combination of shapes and textures of containers to present various features of the water, and our members have showcased these principles in their Ikebana arrangements.
