Masae Ako

Masae started learning ikebana at the age of 14 and has been doing Ikebana in both Japan and Australia for over 50 years

More than 17 of her students have qualified for the Grade of Teacher. This qualification is recognised by Japan.

Her aim is to encourage and pass on the philosophy of Sogetsu Ikebana to the next generation.

Masae is currently Director of Australian Sogetsu Teachers Association (NSW Branch).
