I have been a ceramic potter for many years and seeing ikebana containers in books made me want to learn more about the art of Sogetsu. I started learning with Yoshi Umemura and now have my Teacher’s Diploma 4th Grade. I share love of both art disciplines by being the treasurer for the association plus running ceramic workshops for members to help them make containers of their own design.
