Kevin Walpole

I was a teacher of Floral Art and a working plant scientist for 21 years in Canada, also doing floristry for weddings, events and weekly designs for several offices.

In Australia I was the principal flower person for ongoing arrangements everyday at the Sydney Opera House for many years and awarded for the work by the Opera House.

I studied with Yoshiro Umemura and Norman Sparnon, Sogetsu Ikebana for many years . I also studied with Helen Coleman, Ikenobo Ikebana for many years.

I have been an active member of Australian Sogetsu Teachers Association for more than 30 years. I have enjoyed teaching in Sydney and have had a pile of lovely students over the years.
