Jorgen Rasmussen

In 1998 Jorgen saw Sogetsu Ikebana work in the Royal Botanic Gardens, wanting ‘to know more’ commenced classes with his present Sensei, Yoshiro Umemura. Intrigued with Japanese art forms Jorgen is also a keen Bonsai artist, which he studies and exhibits his selection of trees with two clubs. With very little time to spare Jorgen is a keen gardener plus manages to volunteer for ‘Growing Friends’ in the Botanic Gardens.
