Elizabeth Fuller

I first heard of ikebana at the age of ten but did not find a teacher for more than twenty years, in N Z and it was my great fortune to move to Sydney in 1979 because Norman Sparnon became my teacher. I was also taught by Marge Hayes.
Since 1989 I have served on the ASTA committee as treasurer and then as Director.

In 2007 I was awarded the 80th Anniversary Sogetsu Commemorative Overseas Award.
I learn Ikenobo commencing this study with Norman Sparnon.

Ikebana has been an inspiration in my life, whether it be art, sculpture, gardening and an ongoing meditation with nature. The joy of creativity and meeting fellow Sogetsu artists over the years has enriched my life.
