'Poetry of Leaves' with Haiku

Written by

Today’s theme is inspired by Norman Sparnon’s book ‘Poetry of Leaves’, but to keep our minds busy during this extended ‘lockdown’ we added an extra challenge – write a Haiku.

The Haiku had to accompany the arrangement of leaves. Haikus traditionally evoke images of the natural world and most of us wrote one to express the excitement of the coming spring, which is already displaying it beauty.

In quiet times write a Haiku to express the beauty of nature that surrounds you, it is so relaxing a must for this stressful period of COVID.
