This is the last lesson with Seiseki Umemura for 2021, a year of uncertainty and isolation but we all managed to maintain our unique creativity plus a wonderful sense of humour and happiness

With Christmas just around the corner, the lyrics of ‘Deck the halls with boughs of holly…..’ (though no one had Holly) in mind we set about creating festive arrangements with a little ‘bling’ sparkle, lights or what ever takes an ‘ordinary’ arrangement to the next level of festive fun.

Trolling our favourite hardware and other stores many came up with tiny battery operated lights, tinsel or the great stand by spray paint to add the ‘bling’ factor to the arrangement.

We wish everyone a safe Christmas and fingers crossed 2022 is going to be a year of freedom full of adventures and creative ikebana
