Previous class themes have included triangles, circles, squares, straight or curved line so the idea of today’s theme was to ‘up the anti’ and create oval shapes.
Oval or elliptical shapes seem to be quite prevalent in nature such as the shapes of many leaves, newly formed buds, pebbles, caterpillar cocoons etc, right down to the humble boiled egg we may eat for breakfast.
Line work or a solid form either way could create the oval shapes. Some class members took advantage of the Easter season using coloured eggs in their arrangements. How would you represent oval shape in your arrangement?
