My journey of ikebana started when I had my first lesson with Sandy (Sandra Marker) in 2019. I still remember how fascinated I was by the inspirational works of Sandy and her students when I came to her studio. From the basic styles in Book 1 to the various compositions in Book 3&4, ikebana has brought me a new perception towards the wonders of the nature. I am learning from Sandy not only the techniques of “highlighting the beauty of nature”, but also the spiritual essence of ikebana.

Thanks to the guidance and encouragements from Sandy all along, I have found and been developing my connections with nature, with art and beauty, and most importantly, with myself through ikebana.
