NSW Camellia Show exhibition July 2009

The NSW Camellia Research Society Inc. held its 40th annual Camellia Show on 10th -12th July 2009 at Ravenswood School for Girls, Gordon.
A breathtaking display of over 1200 labeled blooms of every variety and colour camellia were arranged in such a way your wish list for beautiful blooms in your garden grew by the minute. Once viewing the amazing selection, purchases could be made or browse through the displays of arrangements for great ideas of how camellias can be arranged.
The Sogetsu Ikebana Teachers’ displayed 12 arrangements, which were done by the following members: Iris Yung, Sandy Marker, Elizabeth Fuller, Vivian Young, Lou Darin, Rosemary Clinch, Margaret Hall & Jorgen Rasmussen. All arrangements used Camellias (from our own gardens) in various styles ranging from very formal to contemporary designs using interesting containers.
