Sharon Hulme (Practicing teacher)
Born in the USA, emerged during the “dawning of the Age of Aquarius” with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Art from California State University, Long Beach.
After teaching for six years in the ghetto of L.A. I was recruited to Australia by the N.S.W. Department of Education in 1974 to teach Art in Sydney high schools for 20 years. Working for the Australian Catholic University during semi-retirement brought my interest to study Sogetsu Ikebana under Masae Ako in 2005, then later again and currently with Sandra Marker.
Sharing a love of Ikebana, gardening, and competing in triathlons, I feel destined to be a “Flower Child” forever.
